Patrick works with me and is also my brother-in-law’s fiancée’s brother. He is practically family. On a perfect day in August he married a beautiful, Brazilian girl named Carolina, who looked like a model on her wedding day… seriously. Patrick met Carolina when they worked together at Wintergreen Ski Resort a few winters ago. They dated long distance when she moved back to Brazil after the ski season. Fortunately, she found another work opportunity in Northern Virginia and after another year in the States, they tied the knot. Their story is almost like a fairy tale. It was a smaller wedding, but was an absolutely perfect day. Close family and friends traveled from Georgia, Florida, and Brazil to celebrate. The weather was amazing. I learned a little Portuguese.
