Emma and Savannah (next post) met to take some senior portraits… At the time, Emma was waiting to hear back from a variety of ACC schools and was hoping to hear good news from Duke or UNC. While UVA and VT were on her list, I was encouraging her to consider UVA! Wahoowa.

Savannah’s Sneak Peek – Northern Virginia High School Senior Photographer

I shot with a friend and fellow photographer taking some of Savannah’s senior portraits. Savannah was outgoing, energetic, and fun and had a great serious face contrasted with a pretty smile for pictures. I played around with a little grunge in photoshop to make this garage door a little more interesting!

Pie Sisters Georgetown

Alli, Erin, and Cat are three sisters who recently opened a pie shop together in Georgetown, DC. Their shop, called the “Pie Sisters,” opened just after the New Year and they’ve been covered by many DC foodie blogs, Washingtonian Magazine, the local news channels, and more. I had the privilege of getting to know them through real estate this summer and am happy to call them great friends. I have ordered their pies for several events and holiday occasions and can honestly say their pies are amazing! I don’t have pictures of their “cuppies” (cupcake sized pies) but highly recommend the classic apple, the apple caramel crunch, the bourbon pecan, and my wife’s favorite, the chocolate cream. Check out the bottom of the post for some fun pictures of my boys!

Joe & Lisa’s Sneak Peek – Virginia Wedding Photographer

I had the privilege of being a second photographer with Courtney Vogel Photography just before the New Year. The reception was held at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA with the ceremony being a couple blocks away at St. Mark’s Episcopal.

I was in charge of taking pictures of the “guys” pre-ceremony… here are a few of my favorites.

Lisa & Jeremy’s Sneak Peek – Northern Virginia Engagement Photographer

I met with Lisa and Jeremy for an engagement shoot in Ashburn, VA at one of my favorite spots to photograph. The weather was brisk, but beautiful which made it easy to capture a lot of great shots. Here are some of my favorites from our time together, including these of the enchanted forest!

Olivia, Ava & Leighton’s Family Sneak Peek – Northern Virginia Family Photographer

I met with Jason, Ashley, and their three beautiful girls for a newborn/family photo shoot. Leighton was only 5 days old, but had a full head of hair. We had a great time together trying new and interesting poses. Here’s one of my favs.

Tandy & Chakris’ Sneak Peek – Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer

I spent the afternoon and evening of October 8th with Tandy and Chakris for their big day at Oatlands Plantation. The weather was absolutely perfect and Tandy looked like a million dollars. Here’s a sneak peek of a few of my favorites.
